conversation advice
The more prepared you are to have uncomfortable conversations, the braver you will be about having them.
WHo to talk to
You are probably here because you know oppression exists but you feel powerless to do anything about it - posting on Instagram and donating to organizations don’t feel like enough. So start here: where do you have power? Where do people listen to you and respect your opinions? In what communities do you have leverage? Your school? Your friend group? Your sports team? Your family? Your workplace? With your one cousin who’s in middle school? Make a list. That’s where you do, in fact, have power. Who among those people could use a push towards fighting for justice? Talk to them.
